The Story
It has been quite impossible to truly consider environmental impacts alongside technical and visual criteria when selecting products.
Our Co-founder and CEO Hilda Rantanen faced the scope of this problem while working as an Interior Architect in the Real Estate Development scene in Helsinki, taking part in various development projects and collaborating with numerous companies operating in the field.
She decided to gather a group of professionals with backgrounds complementing her own, and started defining a solution to tackle this problem on a larger scale. This was the beginning of Materialisting.
