The Story
About half of buildings' emissions come from the materials that go into them. Despite this, it has been quite impossible to truly consider environmental impacts alongside technical and visual criteria when selecting products. However, as the market and regulations evolve, this is becoming increasingly important.
Our Co-founder and CEO Hilda Rantanen faced the scope of this problem while working as an Interior Architect and Graphic Designer in Helsinki, taking part in various real estate development projects and collaborating with numerous companies operating in the field. She decided to gather a group of professionals with backgrounds complementing her own, and start defining a solution to tackle this problem on a larger scale.
